For this project I was tasked with testing the 'clip' strength of some the products we produced. This test had previously been performed by hand generating inconclusive results due to the lack of control between tests. In order to complete this test I had to come up with an improved mechanism that would hold the product during the test and produce consistent and comparable results.

I had that force gauge machine that would be used to read the amount of force needed to rip the clip from the product but I had no way of securing the product to the base of the machine. I came up with this design that screwed into the bottom of the existing force gauge machine and clamped the product between two pieces of metal. The force gauge was then attached to the 'clip' on the product and used to perform the test.
